Choosing how to pay for a rental is also a decision about how the booking will be confirmed and what record you will keep. AMR Paros Rental Car publishes card and bank-transfer booking routes, an advance-payment option, and conditions for changes and cancellation. Check which arrangement applies to your reservation before sending money.
From a search result to a confirmed reservation
Start with the AMR online booking page and enter the dates, times and locations you need. Review the selected category and total amount before proceeding. A search result, a payment instruction and a final confirmation are different stages of the process.
Use an email address you can access while travelling. Keep the confirmation with the agreed dates, vehicle category and payment record. If a message does not arrive or a payment status is unclear, contact AMR before submitting another booking or making a second payment.
Card, bank transfer or a telephone booking
The AMR FAQ describes online credit-card payment with confirmation by email, bank transfer followed by emailing the receipt, and telephone booking with payment by bank transfer. Choose the route offered for your reservation and follow the instructions supplied at that stage.
For a card payment, check the amount and retain the payment record. Confirm any question about the accepted card, cardholder or balance payment before proceeding; the general availability of card payment does not answer every booking condition.
For a bank transfer, obtain the current payment instructions from AMR’s booking process or official contact details. Send the requested receipt to info@amr.gr and wait for confirmation. A transfer receipt shows that you have instructed a payment; it is not a substitute for AMR confirming the reservation.
If you arrange the rental by telephone, ask for the agreed details and payment instructions in writing. Keep the booking reference with the transfer so both parties can identify the payment.
The 30% advance and the remaining balance
AMR’s FAQ describes a bank-transfer advance of 30% of the total rental, with the balance paid when receiving the vehicle in Paros, in cash or by credit card. Confirm the arrangement for your reservation before transferring funds.
Write down what you have paid and what remains due, including when and how the balance will be settled. An advance is part of the rental price. It should be considered separately from a security deposit and from any liability or insurance excess under the rental agreement.
What AMR says about a security guarantee
In a separate FAQ answer, AMR states that it does not take a guarantee at vehicle collection. That statement does not mean the rental has no advance payment, that every payment card is accepted, or that damage liability disappears. Ask about the payment and collection conditions relevant to your booking.

Requesting a change
The FAQ says changes require contact with AMR and availability on the new date. Send the reservation reference and the dates or details you want to change. Ask whether the total price or payment schedule will change, and wait for an updated confirmation before treating the request as accepted.
You can review the AMR rental car categories while considering an alternative. A fleet page does not establish that a particular vehicle will be available for the revised dates.
Cancellation timing and refunds
AMR’s published cancellation wording refers to cancellation seven days before the reservation and a charge of 30% of the total price otherwise. Ask the company to confirm the relevant deadline, including the date and time, for your booking.
The published terms also place the relevant bank charges on the customer. Where a refund is due, the FAQ describes a bank transfer using account details supplied by the customer by email. Confirm the calculation and process directly; do not assume an advance will always be refunded in full or that a refund date has been agreed.
Send a cancellation request clearly identifying the reservation and retain a copy with its date and time. Ask AMR to acknowledge it. If you have not received a reply, follow up through the official contact details instead of assuming an unanswered call has completed the process.
A payment record you can use while travelling
Before paying, read the AMR FAQ and Terms & Conditions, then keep these items together:
- The final booking confirmation and reservation reference.
- The total agreed price, payment receipts and any balance due.
- The dates, times, locations and category you have booked.
- Written acceptance of a change or acknowledgement of cancellation.
- Any clarification AMR has provided about the applicable payment or refund arrangement.
If a figure differs between messages, ask for a corrected confirmation before paying the difference. Keeping a clear record is more useful than relying on a general promise in an article.
Contact AMR about a payment or reservation
Use info@amr.gr or +30 698 3030 825 for a question about a payment, change or cancellation. The AMR business presentation on Magic Lamp identifies the business; booking conditions should come from AMR’s own published information and your confirmed arrangement.
To start a new request, enter your dates in the AMR online search. Complete the payment route offered for that request and keep its confirmation.
